<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically produce a joint linking segment rings. <P>SOLUTION: A joint 20 is provided for linking a first segment ring 14 having an end face 12 vertical to an axial-line direction of a shield tunnel and a second segment ring 18 opposed to the end face 12 and having an end face 16 vertical to the axial-line direction. The end face 12 of the first segment ring 14 is opened, and a hole 22 is included which extends from the end face 12 inward in the axial-line direction. The joint 20 includes a rod-like member 26 and fall prevention means 28. The rod-like member 26 is fixed to the end face 16 of the second segment ring 18, extends from the end face 16 outward in the axial-line direction, and is inserted into the hole 22 in linking the first segment ring 14 and the second segment ring 18. The fall prevention means 28 is fixed to the rod-like member 26 and comprised of a plate-like member 34 for preventing the rod-like member 26 inserted into the hole 22 from falling out of the hole 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
