<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a line of a parking frame painted in yellow or orange on a gray concrete road, in a detection apparatus for the parking frame, and to detect the parking frame using conventional edge detection without distinguishing from a process of a line of the parking frame painted in white. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 14 includes: a yellowish extraction device 14B for extracting a yellowish part on an image on the basis of an RGB signal of the image which is imaged by an imaging device 12; and a brightness addition device 14C for adding a preset value to the brightness of a pixel of the yellowish part extracted by the yellowish extraction device 14B.
