<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of restraining a player from getting bored with a game during a probability variation mode. <P>SOLUTION: When the probability variation mode at a first stage is set (mode flag:=1), a sub-CPU makes a symbol variation game performed on the basis of performance execution content patterns PA21 and PA51 where either of a variation pattern P2 for a jackpot performance and a variation pattern P5 for a losing ready-to-win performance, determined in the awarding of a 16R jackpot play, is specified.
