COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of mutually registering (friend-registering) a desired information processing device with improved accuracy even in the case of mutually registering another information processing device via short-range radio communications.

SOLUTION: In a communication system including plural gaming devices, an individual gaming device performs: carrying out short-range radio communication with another gaming device; receiving, from another information processing device, identification information thereof via the short-range radio communication; detecting a communication condition of the short-range radio communication between the individual gaming device and the other gaming device; determining, based on the detection result, whether to register the other information processing device corresponding to the received identification information of the other device; and registering another gaming device that has been determined to be registered to communicate with the registered other gaming device.
