<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel estimation apparatus and a channel estimation method capable of improving estimation accuracy of a channel response. <P>SOLUTION: A reference signal replica generation section 1 generate a replica of a reference signal. A complex division section 2 performs complex division of the received signals by the replica of the received reference signal to calculate channel response estimation values. An IDFT section 3 performs conversion to time-domain channel response estimation values. A window function multiplication section 4 multiplies the channel response estimation values of a desired waveform signal after the IDFT processing by a window function. A DFT section 5 performs conversion to frequency-domain channel response estimation values. A sample correction section 6 calculates substitute data from the channel response estimation values calculated at the complex division section 2. A sample substitution section 7 substitutes data in a high frequency part and a low frequency part at both ends of a band assigned with data on the channel response estimation values output from the DFT section 5 with the substitution data calculated in the sample correction section 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
