<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming medium feeding device capable of reducing the number of parts to thereby reduce cost, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The feeding device includes: a feed roller 102 for rotating a sheet T received in a cassette 104 in a first direction so as to be supplied downstream side in a conveyance direction when a positive rotation drive of a stepping motor 101 is transmitted; a conveying roller 103 for rotating the sheet T in the first direction so as to be conveyed downstream side in the conveyance direction; a rotation regulator for rotating the conveying roller 103 in the first direction when stepping motor 101 is driven in the positive rotating direction and in the inverse direction; and the feeding controller that controls the stepping motor 101 to output a positive rotation drive so as to feed the sheet T on the uppermost surface received in the cassette 104 to the downstream side in the conveying direction, and also controls the stepping motor 101 to output a reverse rotation drive when the sheet T supplied to the downstream side of the conveyance direction reaches the conveying roller 103. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
