PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound generating device capable of extending sound while maintaining an atmosphere of an original sound as much as possible, and to provide a sound generating method and a sound generating program.

SOLUTION: A sound generating device 10 comprises: a sample acquisition unit 12 for acquiring a sample signal; reverse reproduction means for acquiring an additional signal indicating sound when the sample signal is reverse reproduced; a connection part 14 for generating an expansion sound signal by connecting the sample signal and the additional signal.
