<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reagents for oligonucleotide probes that solve problems of undesirable characteristics such as mixtures which are difficult to separate, positive charge, difficulty in synthesizing, unstability during oligonucleotide synthesis, overlapping emission wavelengths with other desirable reporters or the like, when reporter fluorophores are used in reporter/quencher pairs for hybridization applications. <P>SOLUTION: Oligonucleotide-fluorophore-quencher conjugates wherein a fluorophore moiety has emission wavelengths in the range of about (300) to about (800) nm, and/or where the quencher includes a substituted 4-(phenyldiazenyl)phenylamine structure are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
