The invention relates to vehicle tires, primarily to inflatable pneumatic tires and, in particular, to ultra low pressure tires intended for use on vehicles for traveling off-road and on low bearing capacity terrain. The tire (1) (fig. 1) for a four-wheel drive all-terrain vehicle has a casing (3) provided with a carcass (2) (fig. 2) and having a thickness which is substantially constant and is equal to 0.007-0.030 of the height of the profile of the tire. The tire is provided with a central (4) running section. By dividing the central running section (4) using a longitudinal (5) (fig. 3) groove which has grooves (6, 7) parallel thereto that separate off the lugs (8, 9) of the middle sections of the tread, it is possible to create a simple and reliable structure for a tire (1) with enhanced functionality which makes it possible for a vehicle to travel on terrain with a very low bearing capacity as well as on roads with hard surfaces without causing damage to the surface layer, and increases the speed of travel and reduces noise, since the lugs (8, 9) of the middle sections of the tread are arranged more densely than the lugs (10, 11) of the peripheral sections, which are separated from the former by the groove, significantly increasing the adhesion of the running gear to different travel surfaces and providing for enhanced functionality. |
