<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inking control method of a printer, wherein all factors affecting inking are considered at a speed change as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: In a method, the inking of the printer is controlled by compensation adjustment required of ink in an inking device and/or compensation adjustment required of dampening water in a dampening water device, of the printer.
