<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container with a cap capable of surely preventing the intrusion of a foreign matter into a container body regardless of a difference in a product shape of the container body and the cap. <P>SOLUTION: The container with the cap includes the container body 1 having a mouth 1c opened at an upper portion, and the cap 2 having a peripheral wall 2b surrounding the mouth 1c and detachably screwed to the mouth 1c. The cap 2 has an annular body 2c integrally connected to the peripheral wall 2b, and the mouth 1c includes a neck ring 1d projecting toward the inner wall face 2c<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of the annular body 2c. The neck ring 1d is provided with an upper projecting part 1d<SB POS="POST">2</SB>projecting toward the annular body 2c, and the annular body 2c is provided with a lower projecting part 2c<SB POS="POST">2</SB>which lies lower than the upper projecting part 1d<SB POS="POST">2</SB>in an installation end posture of the cap and projects toward the neck ring 1d.
