<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of grasping a current position (including a right-and-left state) and moving direction of a user and a movable body at a lower cost. <P>SOLUTION: A communication system (1) comprises: a transmitting device (100) having a light emitting part (120) which emits white light; and a receiving device (200) having a light receiving part (210) which receives light emitted from the transmitting device (100). The white light is composed of a plurality of lights, which are different in angular dependency and wavelength, and the light emitting part (120) transmits data individually by each of the plurality of lights. Then, the light receiving parts (210, 211) receive the data individually by receiving the plurality of lights.
