<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting apparatus having a line-type recording head which can reduce the difference in amounts of droplets to be ejected from adjacent nozzles. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting apparatus 1 includes: multiple pressure chambers 31 which are respectively communicated with multiple nozzles 30 constituting a nozzle array 29; and multiple liquid ejecting heads 2, which have a common liquid chamber 32 configured to supply a common liquid to the multiple pressure chambers, and which are arranged in a nozzle array direction. Each of the liquid ejecting heads includes; a liquid supply channel which is communicated with one end of the common liquid chamber in the nozzle array direction and supplies the liquid from a liquid storage tank 5 toward the common liquid chamber by means of a liquid feeding means 27; and a liquid discharge channel which is communicated with the other end of the common liquid chamber in the nozzle array direction and discharges the liquid from the common liquid chamber toward the liquid storage tank by means of the liquid feeding means. The directions of flows of the liquid, in the common liquid chamber, from the liquid supply channel through the common liquid chamber toward the liquid discharge channel are opposite to each other between the adjacent liquid ejecting heads. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
