[Problem] To avoid packet collisions, an increase in the amount of delay, a drop in throughput, and the like for traffic even in a case where there is a large amount of traffic in the same class of priority category. [Solution] A wireless LAN communication device (100) that performs EDCA priority control is provided with the following: a first determination means (101) that determines an access category; a second determination means (102) that determines a band occupancy rate for each access category; and a change means (103) that dynamically changes, for each category, the priority control parameters according to the determination results of the first determination means (101) and the second determination means (102). Preferably, when there is a plurality of categories, the change means (103) executes a first optimization if the band occupancy rate is at least a first band occupancy rate and executes a second optimization if the band occupancy rate is no more than the first band occupancy rate and is at least a second band occupancy rate, and with the first and second optimizations, temporarily increases by at least a predetermined value (a) the priority control parameters CWmin and CWmax. |
