The invention relates to a current diverting device adapted to be electrically connected with a battery pack arranged to power a machine comprising at least a first operating unit. The battery pack comprises a positive and a negative pole and a plurality of battery cells interconnected between the poles such that at least two battery cells are connected in series for providing a higher battery pack voltage level, and is further arranged to feed electricity to the at least one first operating unit via the battery poles.
