<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a forced wind-cooling heat sink which is built in a railway vehicular control apparatus, in the case where the control apparatus cannot be enlarged because of a restriction such as a vehicular limitation, it is difficult to widen an intake space and if the intake space is small, the sufficient quantity of winds cannot be secured, thereby damaging a performance as the railway vehicular control apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicular control apparatus is installed under a floor of a car body of a railway vehicle and incorporates a cooling block in which a semiconductor device is mounted, and a forced wind-cooling heat sink having a cooling fin on a surface of the cooling block confronted to the surface on which the semiconductor device is mounted. In the vehicular control apparatus, an intake is arranged which ventilates air from an upper portion of the cooling fin and by chamfering a corner of the upper air ventilating portion of the cooling fin toward the intake, an intake space can be widened, therefore the sufficient quantity of winds can be secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
