<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating deformation, which estimates deformation of a worked product when a workpiece is subjected to a melt-solidification treatment to manufacture the worked product. <P>SOLUTION: The method for estimating deformation includes: a first step of recognizing separately a melt-solidification part 14aa (formation region) where a melt-solidification part is formed by the melt-solidification treatment, from a non-formation region 14ab where the melt-solidification part 14aa is not formed by the melt-solidification treatment, in the workpiece; a second step of assuming that the melt-solidification part 14aa is formed of an orthotropic honeycomb core stock, while replacing the non-formation region 14ab with a replacement that is assumed to be formed of an isotropic solid stock; and a third step of computing deformation of the worked product that is a workpiece subjected to the melt-solidification treatment, by a model replaced in the second step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
