<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire which improves a rim fitting property of a bead and secures excellent driving stability performance or the like while preventing the deterioration of riding comfort in a run-flat tire where crescent-like highly hard reinforced rubber is arranged at a side. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic radial tire which is comprised of the reinforced rubber 11 having a flat rate of ≤45% and a call of a rim diameter of ≥18 (inch) having a crescent-like cross sectional shape, and arranged at the side, and one or more carcass plies includes a radial carcass 13 formed by rolling up to the outside in a radial direction around a bead core 14. A width in the center axis line direction of a bead base 7 in a contact posture to a bead seat 6 of an applied rim 2 is made narrower than the width in the center axis line direction of the bead seat 6 ranging from the rim flange 8 of the applied rim 2 to a hump 9.
