Photovoltaic modules (3) are arranged in the roof region of buildings in the manner of shingles, i.e. with horizontal edges overlapping one another. The latter are connected to the photovoltaic modules (3) in the longitudinal direction via reinforcing metal brackets (7). Via said metal brackets (7) the photovoltaic modules (3) are fixed to U-profiles of a substructure (11), which are in turn supported on a roof substructure. In the region of the U-profiles, a slot (4) is provided between juxtaposed rows of photovoltaic modules (3), said slot allowing access into the interior of the U-profiles of the substructure (11), such that said U-profiles can serve as roof gutters for carrying away precipitation. |
