The coil (1) has a winding carrier (2) provided with a winding that is formed by rolling an electrically conductive wire in multiple turns, where the winding exhibits a winding axis extending along a direction. A portion of the winding is provided with narrower diameter (33), where winding diameter in the portion is reduced relative to the winding diameter at other portions of the coil. The winding is located at a position between the narrower diameter and a winding end (31). The winding diameter in the position is greater than the narrower diameter.
