Disclosed are a page browsing method and electronic device using said method. The method comprises: initiating an electronic device program and displaying the display page of the program; while displaying the display page of the program, sensing the tilting status of the electronic device to acquire the tilting direction and tilting degree, converting the tilting direction into the corresponding scrolling direction of the display page, and converting the tilting degree into the corresponding scrolling speed of the display page; scrolling the display page according to the scrolling direction and the scrolling speed. The method enables easy page browsing and enhancing user experience in operating the electronic device.
