<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a characteristic of an amplifier that varies across the ages. <P>SOLUTION: An amplifier characteristic estimation device 4 includes: a pseudo transmitter 6 having a pseudo amplifier 62 that simulates a characteristic of an amplifier 22 and simulating a characteristic of a transmitter 2; an amplifier output signal estimation part 7 for generating an amplifier estimation output signal that estimates an output signal of the amplifier 22 from a transmission channel passing modulation wave signal, an output signal of the pseudo transmitter 6, and an output signal of the pseudo amplifier 62; an amplifier characteristic derivation part 8 for deriving an estimation characteristic value of the amplifier 22 from an input signal of the pseudo amplifier 62 and the amplifier estimation output signal; and a control part 9 for performing control so as to repeat processing by the pseudo transmitter 6, the amplifier output signal estimation part 7, and the amplifier characteristic derivation part 8 a predetermined times and updating the characteristic of the pseudo amplifier 62 to the estimation characteristic value, every time when the estimation characteristic value of the amplifier 22 is derived by the amplifier characteristic derivation part 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
