<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium playback device whose cost is reduced by reducing the number of components by making one means serve both as means for detecting a state where a recording medium is half inserted and as means for detecting a closed state or opened state of an opening/closing panel. <P>SOLUTION: A recording medium playback device (navigation device) 10 includes: device body 11 in which an insertion slot 14 for a recording medium is formed; an automatic opening/closing panel 15 which moves between a closed state for covering the insertion slot 14 and an opened state for exposing the insertion slot 14; and detection means 24 for detecting a half insertion state in which the recording medium is inserted halfway toward the device body 11 of the automatic opening/closing panel 15 and detecting one between the closed state and the opened state of the automatic opening/closing panel 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
