GARBAGE TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus in which the garbage thrown away in a container body can be dried in a short time.

SOLUTION: The garbage treatment apparatus 1 includes: a container body 2 in which garbage 7 can be thrown away; a stirring member 4 that stirs the garbage 7 in the container body 2; and a dryer 6. The garbage treatment apparatus is characterized in that: the stirring member 4 includes a rotary shaft 41 and an agitation blade 43; a hollow part 42 is formed in the rotary shaft 41; and the hot air from the dryer 6 is passed through the hollow part 42. In addition, the hot air that has passed through the hollow part 42 is spouted from a jet hole 45 provided at the side of the rotary shaft 41.
