摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounted crystal device in which the degree of breakage and frequency variations by temperature change are small. <P>SOLUTION: A crystal device (100) comprises: a rectangular crystal element (20) that has an exciting part and a frame part (25) surrounding the periphery of the exciting part and in which the frame part (25) has sides in a first direction and sides in a second direction crossing the first direction; a rectangular base (30) that is joined to one surface of the frame part and has sides in the first direction and sides in the second direction; and a rectangular lid (10) that is joined to the other surface of the frame part and has sides in the first direction and sides in the second direction. In the first direction of the frame part, the base, and the lid of a crystal material, a first joining material (51), which is corresponding to the thermal expansion coefficient of the crystal element in the first direction, is applied, whereas in the second direction of the frame part, the base, and the lid of the crystal material, a second joining material (52), which is corresponding to the thermal expansion coefficient of the crystal element in the second direction and is different from the first joining material, is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
