This connector retaining structure comprises: a pair of holders (2), which are each formed into a quasi-U shape comprising a base section (2a), a connector supporting section (2f) that extends from both ends of the base section (2a) and has inner side surfaces, the interval therebetween in a section close to the base section (2a) being narrower than the opening width of a connector hole (1c), and a pair of arms (2b) having a vacuity section (2d) for eliminating interference with a claw (5a), and which are each accommodated by a face plate (1) at either end section in the length direction of a connector hole (1c); and levers (3) that allow the face plate (1) to support each holder (2) either at a holder-locking position where the connector supporting section (2f) is partially exposed from the circumferential edge section of the connector hole (1c) with the base section (2a) being positioned in front of the claw (5a) and a recessed section (1a), or at a holder-releasing position where the connector supporting section (2f) is unexposed to the connector hole (1c) with the vacuity section (2d) being positioned in front of the claw (5a) and the recessed section (1a). |
