<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor that has high emission intensity (luminance) at normal temperature and also has less deterioration in emission intensity (luminance) even when exposed to high temperature, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a yellow phosphor includes: (1) a step for water solubilization of Si and Ge, in which a polyol compound and a Si alkoxide compound and/or a Ge alkoxide compound are mixed and heated in the presence of an acid catalyst to obtain a water soluble Si compound and/or a water soluble Ge compound; (2) a step for preparation of a raw material aqueous solution, in which an aqueous solution including a first element that is at least one selected from alkali metals, a second element that is at least one selected from Ca, Sr, and Ba, and a third element that is at least one selected from rare earth elements, Bi, and Mn, and the water soluble Si compound and/or the water soluble Ge compound are mixed; (3) a step for gelling, in which the raw material aqueous solution is heated, etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
