<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform optical measurement without giving any thermal damage to an illumination light source when light emitted from the illumination light source is received to execute the optical measurement. <P>SOLUTION: An optical measuring device includes a light emitting unit 2 to cause an LED 8 to emit light by supplying driving current to the LED 8 from a power source unit 7, a photometric unit 5 for receiving the light L emitted from the LED 8 to execute optical measurement of the LED 8, and a trigger signal transmission unit 20 for connecting between the light emitting unit 2 and the photometric unit 5, and transmitting a trigger signal trig for synchronizing the emission timing of the light emission unit 2 and the measuring timing of the photometric unit 5.
