<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an ultraviolet irradiation device for an implant for removing organic contaminants from the implant by ultraviolet rays, which minimizes damage caused by ultraviolet rays to a light receiving part of an ultraviolet sensor by maintaining the airtight state of a casing when monitoring the illuminance of an ultraviolet lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The ultraviolet irradiation device for the implant includes the ultraviolet lamp disposed in the casing, and a carriage for carrying an implant holder in and out of the casing. The wall of the casing is provided with a connector to which a cable to the light receiving part of the ultraviolet sensor is detachably connected inside the casing and to which a cable to the body part of the ultraviolet sensor is detachably connected outside the casing. A barrier wall for shielding ultraviolet rays is disposed between the connector and the ultraviolet lamp. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
