<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decision-making support device for providing a fixed selection reference to a person who does not have the selection reference of a matter relating to a specific field by using the knowledge of a person who is familiar with the field, and for measuring even the reliability of a person who provides the selection reference. <P>SOLUTION: A person who is familiar with a specific field is made to perform the input of a synthetic purpose relating to the field, an alternative plan, an evaluation reference, and the result of inter-alternative plan paired comparison, and the result is stored as a database. On the other hand, a person who does not have the selection reference of a matter relating to the specific field is made to extract the proper synthetic purpose from the database, and to perform the input of the result of inter-evaluation reference paired comparison corresponding to the synthetic purposes. Then, as for the synthetic purpose, the result of the inter-evaluation reference paired comparison performed by the person who does not have the selection reference of the matter relating to the field is applied to the result of the inter-alternative plan paired comparison performed by the person who is familiar with the specific field, and the priority of each alternative plan is calculated.
