PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operational feeling by reducing fluctuation of the reaction force of a brake pedal during the regenerative cooperation, in a pneumatic booster.
SOLUTION: An input rod 133 is operated by a brake pedal, atmospheric air is introduced in a pressure-changing chamber 108 through a control valve 132, and brake hydraulic pressure is generated by means of a master cylinder 110 by the thrust of a power piston 106. A part of the reaction force of the fluid pressure is transmitted to the input rod 133 via a reaction member 155. Until the input rod 133 is advanced from a non-operational state to the predetermined position, introduction of atmospheric air into the pressure-changing chamber 108 is blocked by the control valve 132, the reaction force of the reaction member 155 is not transmitted to the input rod 133, and any fluid pressure is not generated in the master cylinder 110. In this condition, the brake fluid pressure is generated by a fluid pressure control device to perform the regenerative cooperation control, and the reaction force is imparted to the input rod 133 by a return spring 140 and a reaction force adjusting spring 158. Fluctuation in the fluid pressure of the master cylinder 110 caused by the operation of the fluid pressure control device is not transmitted to the input rod 133.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
