<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component for a breathing circuit for calling attention to abnormal temperature to be caused by a connection error. <P>SOLUTION: A tube 600 is a component for a breathing circuit constituting the breathing circuit of a medical device, and contains, in the material, a substance that presents different colors for a temperature exceeding a predetermined value and a temperature not exceeding the predetermined value.
