<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uninterruptible packet transmission device and an uninterruptible packet transmission method. <P>SOLUTION: An uninterruptible receive unit includes delay differential adjustment means which calculates a delay differential between transmission lines by averaging differences in arrival time of packet signals of one and the same sequence number with multiple samples and then lets a packet signal on a transmission line side having a short propagation delay time be delayed by an amount of this delay differential before being output to a packet select unit. Furthermore, the uninterruptible receive unit includes a queue processing unit which, when a packet signal whose delay differential has been adjusted by the delay differential adjustment means is input and the sequence number of a packet signal sent out from the packet select unit is n, outputs a packet signal having a sequence number equal to or less than n+1 immediately to the packet select unit, and also, when a packet signal of sequence number N (N=integer equal to or greater than n+2) due to packet losses on one side of the transmission lines is input, keeps it queued up until a packet signal of sequence number N-1 is input from the other side of the transmission lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
