<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle collision determination device that makes maintenance of occupant protection performance compatible with cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle collision determination device includes: a vibration detecting means that detects high-frequency vibration of an acoustic band generated in a vehicle and low-frequency vibration of a band lower than the acoustic band; a first calculation means for calculating a first determination value on the basis of the high-frequency vibration; a second calculation means for calculating a second determination value on the basis of the low-frequency vibration; a threshold switching determination means for executing threshold switching determination of whether or not switching of a collision determination threshold is necessary on the basis of at least the first determination value; and a collision determination means that executes collision determination of whether or not a collision requiring the start-up of an occupant protection device occurs by comparing the second determination value with the collision determination threshold set according to the result of the threshold switching determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
