Structure of safety gate (1) for a forklift truck (100), or similar transport vehicle, having a protection cabin (120) comprising a couple of front uprights (121) and a couple of rear uprights (122) arranged at opposite sides with respect to a driver seat (50). The safety gate (1) comprises a protection portion (20) and a tilting device (15) arranged to cantilever the protection portion (20) from the front upright (121). Furthermore, the tilting device (15) is adapted to connect pivotally the protection portion (20) to a front upright (121) of the protection cabin (120).
