<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fuel electrode layer and a solid electrolyte layer from peeling off from each other during operation of a cell by increasing the adhesion between the fuel electrode layer and the solid electrolyte layer. <P>SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell comprises an air electrode layer 12 as a positive electrode, a fuel electrode layer 13 as a negative electrode, and a solid electrolyte layer 14 between the air electrode layer 12 and the fuel electrode layer 13. The fuel electrode layer 13 contains a ceria-based oxide, and the solid electrolyte layer 14 is mainly composed of a lanthanum-gallate-based oxide. The ceria-based oxide is deposited on the crystal grain boundary of the lanthanum-gallate-based oxide in the solid electrolyte layer 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
