FLAME-RETARDANT POLYOLEFIN RESIN COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant polyolefin resin composition that combines advanced flame retardancy, mechanical characteristics, and heat resistance, and is excellent in appearance.

SOLUTION: The flame-retardant polyolefin resin composition includes, based on 100 pts.wt of a water crosslinking polyolefin resin (A): 110-500 pts.wt of a metal hydroxide (B); and 0.001-0.11 pts.wt of a water crosslinking catalyst (C). The method of manufacturing the flame-retardant polyolefin resin composition includes: a process to mix 110-500 pts.wt of the metal hydroxide (B) with 100 pts.wt of the water crosslinking polyolefin resin (A) to obtain a flame retardant master batch; a process to mix 0.01-10 pts.wt of the water crosslinking catalyst (C) with 100 pts.wt of a resin other than the water crosslinking polyolefin resin (A) to obtain a catalyst master batch; and a process to mix the flame retardant master batch with the catalyst master batch.
