The method involves obtaining digital photo of object (5) in front of white-backlit screen (1), and converting obtained digital photo over tone value displacement into black-and-white photo. The black portion of image is enlarged to obtain modified photo. The modified photo is enlarged and inverted to obtain another photo. Another photo is converted over tone value displacement, to obtain modified another photo. The modified another photo is cropped using mask. The white portion of image is obtained, modified and then cropped. An independent claim is included for device for cropping image of object.
