This display method includes a step for displaying an image upon a display surface (12a), and a step for displaying a partially bent image upon the display surface (12a). In the step for displaying the partially bent image, the partially bent image is formed, in response to input from a user, by bending at least one portion of an area of an image displayed before the input and moving an area that is contiguous to the at least one portion of the area with the bending of the at least one portion of the area. Preferably, the step of displaying the partially bent image includes a step of forming the partially bent image by the user performing pinching or spreading as input.
