Disclosed are an anode for aluminum electrolysis and a production method thereof. The anode for aluminum electrolysis comprises a pre-baked carbon anode body (1) and an aluminum guide rod (11); a piece of anode plate is disposed at the upper portion of the pre-baked carbon anode body (1), the anode plate being provided with several anode plate connection holes (16); the lower portion of the aluminum guide rod (11) is connected to a crimping plate (9) by a connection member (10), to form an aluminum guide rod assembly, the crimping plate (9) being provided with several crimping plate connection holes (15) corresponding to the anode plate connection holes (16); the crimping plate connection holes (15) are crimped to the anode plate connection holes (16) by a crimping member. The method of manufacture of the technical solution of the present invention is not high-temperature casting, but crimping, which can be completed at a normal temperature, meaning that for the anode for aluminum electrolysis of the present invention, production energy consumption is low, production cost is low, and production efficiency is effectively improved.
