<p>The invention relates to a method for configuring an optical transmission interface of at least one first device for transmitting optical signals on at least one respective path to a second device on a carrier wavelength substantially equal to the nominal wavelength of an optical band-pass filter present on said path(s), each first device having an optical reception interface configured to enable receiving optical signals from the second device, the second device having an optical reception interface configured to enable receiving optical signals output by said first optical band-pass filter and transmitted by any first device on a carrier wavelength substantially equal to said nominal wavelength, the optical transmission interface of each first device being initially configured for transmitting optical signals on a first carrier wavelength. The second device performs the steps of: transmitting signature messages to the first device(s); transmitting an acknowledgement to each response message received in response to the transmitted signature messages. Each first device performs the steps of: receiving at least one signature message from the second device; transmitting, to the second device, a response message to each received signature message; reconfiguring its optical transmission interface for transmitting optical signals on another carrier wavelength, when said first device doesn't receive from the second device an acknowledgement between two receptions of signature messages.</p> |
