PURPOSE: A transportation system and a method for transporting cargo using the same are provided to easily transport cargo stacked in the lower part of a process line to the outside without removing a bottom part of the process line. CONSTITUTION: A transportation system comprises an opening and closing part(50), a stopping member, and a transporting cart(80). The opening and closing part comprises at least one plate moving back and forth to open and close the top of a space. One end of the stopping member is fixed in the opening and closing part. The transporting cart is installed inside the space and moves back and forth.
