<p>To produce plastics liquid containers with four sides and a plastics tap fitting, for emptying, the container (2) is blow molded with at least one holder segment (18) at the outer side (19) and a curvature (12) at the leading wall to center and hold the molded container in a welding machine. A round recess is at the outer side of the curvature, with a diameter matching the nominal width of the tap fitting (10). The base of the curvature is cut out with a centered cutting tool, to give the container opening (11). The tap fitting is welded in place at the opening, with the flange (26) of the tap connection (24) bonded to the outer edge (28) of the opening.</p> |
