Each power distribution cabinet unit 160 is connected to one or more electrical appliances 110-150 and is associated with a trip switch configured to turn off the power distribution cabinet upon detection of residual current.The method comprises re-activating the one or more trip switches associated with the respective power distribution cabinet units in a specified order, wherein the re-activating starts after a specified period of time; determining, for each re-activated trips switch, if the respective power distribution cabinet unit is still associated with the residual current condition; and deactivating all of the trip switches that are still associated with the residual current condition.The invention is said to assist Orthodox Jews observe Shabbat requirements.
