PURPOSE: An automatic opening and closing device for a window is provided to improve convenience by automatically opening and closing a window in case of rain. CONSTITUTION: An automatic opening and closing device for a window comprises a housing(14), a drive motor(20), a pair of belt pulleys(22), multiple spur gears(24), a flat belt(26), a fixed piece(28), an articulated actuating piece(30), a tension regulating member(40), a pair of limit switches(50), and a printed circuit board(52). The housing is installed in a line with the opening and closing direction of a window(12). The drive motor is loaded on a bracket(18). The belt pulleys are rotated by the drive motor. The spur gears are coupled to each other and are geared with the axis gears(20a) of the drive motor and the axis gears(22a) of the belt pulleys. The fixed piece is moved with the flat belt. The articulated actuating piece opens and closes the window when the fixed piece is moved. The tension regulating member regulates the tension of the flat belt. The limit switches output an electrical signal for stopping the drive motor. The printed circuit board has a control unit(54). The control unit controls the drive motor depending on the electrical signal outputted from the limit switches. |
