PURPOSE: A method for controlling the display of a humidifying air purifier is provided to overcome the displaying error of cleanliness by differently displaying cleanliness according to the operational mode of a humidifying air purifier. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the display of a humidifying air purifier includes the following: dust is detected by a dust sensor(S1); the operational mode of a humidifying air purifier is verified(S2); different standards of cleanliness are applied to the humidifying air purifier according to the operational mode of the humidifying air purifier; if the humidifying air purifier is in a stopped mode, a first standard of the cleanliness is applied(S3); and if the humidifying air purifier is in an operating mode, a second standard of the cleanliness is applied(S4).
