An electronic device is protected from unauthorized access by use of a security film wrap 20 having at least one security screen 30 connected to an alarm circuit of the electronic device. The security screens 30 have a number of serpentine conductive paths 46 to trigger an alarm response when the security wrap 20 is tampered with. The security wrap 20 has a layer 40 which is at least partly impervious to x-rays to hide the configuration of the security screen when the device is x-rayed. The x-ray impervious layer is preferably sandwiched between two security screen layers. In an alternative arrangement the conductive tracks of the security screens are formed from a conductive ink which is invisible to x-rays. |
