<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent two rocking bodies from being simultaneously opened. <P>SOLUTION: When releasing a locking state of a scanner part 2, holding force is made to act on a first lock member 5A from a second lock member 5B only when shifting from the locking state to a releasing state. Thus, the scanner part 2 and a top cover 3A are prevented from opening simultaneously. When the scanner part 2 is set to the releasing state, the holding force does not act on the first lock member 5A from the second lock member 5B, so that the top cover 3A and the scanner part 2 are easily separated even if the scanner part 2 is set to the releasing state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
