EXPANSION VALVE OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: An expansion valve of a cooling device is provided to prevent noise by improving the stability of an expansion valve and a cooling cycle by quickly exhausting coolant through not only an orifice flow passage but also a bypass flow passage when abnormally excessive pressure coolant flow is occurred. CONSTITUTION: An expansion valve of a cooling device comprises a valve chamber(20), a suction chamber(30), a constant pressure container(40), a diaphragm(50), an opening/closing rod(51), a first valve(53), an orifice flow passage(23), and a bypass(60). The valve chamber comprises an inlet port(21) and an outlet port(22). High pressure coolant flowed in through a condenser(100) is exhausted to an evaporator(200) through the inlet port and the outlet port. The coolant flowed in through the evaporator is flowed to a compressor(300). The diaphragm is moved vertically by being installed in one side of the constant pressure container. The opening/closing rod is coupled with the diaphragm and moved up and down elastically. The first valve is comprised under the opening/closing rod. The orifice flow passage is selectively opened and closed by the first valve. The bypass flow passage bypasses high pressure coolant based on the pressure of the coolant flowed to the valve chamber.
