PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell offering excellent cell characteristics.SOLUTION: A fuel cell 10 comprises a fuel electrode 11, a solid electrolyte 12, an intermediate layer 13, a barrier layer 14 baked with the solid electrolyte layer, and an air electrode 15. The air electrode 15 is disposed on the barrier layer, and comprises a plurality of junctions 15b joined to the barrier layer at a junction interface 15a with the barrier layer, and a plurality of pores 15c provided between the plurality of junctions. The filling factor of the plurality of junctions 15b per unit length of the junction interface is in a prescribed range of 30% to 80%. |
